A taste of Findhorn.

Findhorn is listed as one of the top Ecovillages to visit before you die. It is a half century old community based in the North of Scotland and recognised by the UN as a sustainability teacher. This dynamic education charitable trust has a strong internal community and a decade old study showed Findhorn put in excess of 4million pounds into the local economy and attracted 10,000 workshop delegates and tourists each year. It has its own currency and all play a role in the running of the community. Findhorn uses some wonderful group techniques and simple humane ways of dealing with and contextualising work.

Helen O’Brien a long term resident and facilitator of Experience Week at Findhorn will be with us offering delegates a short introduction to how work is viewed as central to a happy life at Findhorn

A consensus seeking governance is used, working with its own version of sociocracy.
